Diva Dawgs features the latest amenities in the dog grooming business including Hydraulic Lift Table, Cordless Clippers & Clipper Vac System.   The Clipper Vac attaches to the clippers and helps maintain a sanitary working environment by removing dirt, debris, dead skin, fleas and hair during the hair cutting process.  It also keeps the clipper blades cool so there's no clipper burn.  It's so quiet that dogs don't even notice it's on!

The new upright bathing tub features a Shower Massage for soothing hydro~therapeutic spa treatments.    What is hydro~therapy?  Any spa treatment done with water such as hydro~therapy de~shedding, conditioning wrap and soothing hydro~therapy massage. Doggie day beds, toys, chew bones, treats and fresh water are always available.

	Lisa Vogt, owner of Diva Dawgs, with Lili a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.     Cavalier King Charles Spaniels are toy spaniels that look adorable with either a short haircut or left in full coat.
	Peaches the Toy Poodle is a famous dog here in Athens, Georgia, home of the University of Georgia, having lived in many of the UGA Sorority Houses. On game day you can expect to see Peaches in her Red & Black UGA outfit with pearls!

	For Sugar a day at the spa wouldn't be complete without having her friend Emmy come along with her.  Some things are just more fun when you share them!
	You'll never see Miss Emmy without her UGA red nail polish!   Like many Poodles, Emmy enjoys dressing up and has quite the little wardrobe. She and her little friend Sugar are regulars and their mommy's are always so good to Lisa.  Thank you ladies ;o)

	A neck "noose" is never used at Diva Doggies.  Instead a Groomer's Helper "belly band" gently, yet securely, holds the little ones in place on the grooming table, just like the one being used with Prissy.
	Gizmo needed the Groomer's Helper for his first big-boy groom because he was just too curious for his own good.  Not only does the belly band hold him in place on the table, but his collar attaches to a leash-like lead and keeps him from spinning.  Sharp implements like scissors and clippers don't mix well with tiny pink puppy tongues and I do my best to keep  them separate!

	Nina's Pomeranian Puppies came in for their first grooms on the day they were each to go to their new homes.  Now that they've had their "Introduction to Grooming 101" they'll know what to expect the next time and won't be fearful.  Don't the girls look adorable in their pearl necklaces!
	Kodak enjoys his Blueberry Facial which exfoliates and brightens his entire face and reduces his tear stains.  For brushing his teeth a whitening toothpaste is used.  A disposable finger brush scrubs teeth, tongue and the roof of his mouth for a thorough cleansing of the entire mouth.

	Margo & Sammy are best friends and go everywhere together!  Margo adopted Sammy with money she earned herself. For a little beagle Sammy sure can throw an undercoat!  But she feels so much better after her hydro~therapy de~shedding treatment and her coat just shines. Margo loves dogs and is often seen helping Lisa in the Spalon.

	The Duchess of Yorky looks adorable modeling a leopard~print jacket with red pom~poms from Diva Doggie's!   This little girl has always acted so grown~up on the grooming table, standing still and being very cooperative too.   Thank you Duchess ~ "Miss Lisa" Loves You!
	Mojo is a Teacup Shih Tzu who is absolutely overjoyed with life!    Shih Tzu's need lots of grooming but thank goodness they usually have outstanding personalities and enjoy the attention that comes with being pampered.

	BEFORE: Pépé is in rough shape, heavily matted, uncomfortable, dirty and not smelling his best!
	AFTER:  Pépé feels so much better now.  Poodles definitely have a self image!    He loves prancing around with his blue bows and matching blue nail polish and look how much more attention he receives now that he's clean and beautiful.    Pépé just started taking NuJOINT PLUS for his arthritis and is already feeling better.  Click on Pépé to learn more.

	Lucy the Bichon is an absolute sweetheart and always with a smile on her face!   Most Bichon Frise's have fantastic personalities just like Lucy.
	Izzy is such a quiet, well-mannered Shih Tzu when she's at Lisa's Diva's.  Her Mom says she LOVES swimming in their lake and actually jumps off the dock all by herself! You'll never catch Izzy without hair bows and a cute little necklace.

	Poor Wally!    This adorable Maltese was so thickly matted to the skin that when he was shaved his coat came off in a large "pelt" like a sheep.
	How can you help prevent this?   Between grooming appointments, comb after you brush, use de-tangler and conditioner and don't scrub & scrunch when bathing or else you turn the coat into felt.

	Pepper loves to play dress-up!   Every groom he gets a different hair cut for a new look.   Too cute!
	~Lisa with Pepper~ Like many little dogs Pepper has a self image and enjoys watching himself get groomed.  There are large mirrors on either side of the grooming room for this very purpose!

	In what's called "Full Coat" a dog needs to be groomed at least once a month to maintain the long hair and avoid the need for a "shave down."  Examples of dogs that can have a full coat are Shih Tzu's, Maltese, Shelty's and Yorky's.   Many clients like their dog to grow a full coat in winter then get a much shorter "do" for Summer.
	Juji is a perfect gentleman on the grooming table, like many Yorkshire Terriers.  Yorky's are fun to groom because there are so many styles to choose from like the Westy Clip, the Puppy Cut (one length all over) or Full Coated.  Isn't he handsome in his Full Coat and top knot?

	~Penny~   You're a blonde beauty and as sweet as you are pretty.   We miss you but hope you're enjoying your new life as a salty dog in Florida.
	Ladybug is Miss Personality Plus!  But with each groom she grows more accustomed to the process and acts better and better.  This is the benefit of sticking with the same groomer.  The dog learns what's expected of them and grows accusted to working with the same person, learning to trust them.

	Lisa with Crissy who is such a beautiful dog that when she's in the spa and has just gotten groomed, others see her ask, "Is that a real dog?"  Yup, she's real and a sweetheart too.  Here's she's wearing yellow Hawaiian flowers in her hair, a matching yellow bandana and she smells like a vanilla sugar cookie!
	Hey cut that out!  You're gonna get the computer screen all icky!
